SHAMPOOING: We recommend Mastey Traite Shampoo or Versacchi Moisture Bathe Shampoo. Always detangle before washing. A boar-hair or vent brush is recommended to minimize hair stress and breakage. Start at the ends and gently comb downward, working up the hair until all tangles are removed. Mastey HC Formula Leave-In Conditioner or Versacchi Thermal Factors Leave-In Conditioner will help remove tangles and maintain moisture in the hair between washes.

Daily wear Hair Sytems: Wash Every 10-15 days. Use lukewarm water in a basin or tub. Add shampoo to water in basin and mix thoroughly. Gently bathe hair system in shampoo/water solution. Gently run fingertips through the hair. Do not scrub the hair system base. Rub gently in one direction only. Rinse with lukewarm water allowing water to run through the hair system from top to bottom. Warning –  Using hot water can open hair cuticle causing tangling.

Permanent Attachment Hair Systems: Use lukewarm water. Apply shampoo to the ends of the hair and work upward toward the base. Shampoo gently by running fingertips through hair. Do not scrub the base or scalp. Rub gently in one direction only. Rinse with lukewarm water allowing water to run through the hair system from top to bottom.
Warning – Using hot water can open hair cuticle causing tangling.


CONDITIONING: We recommend Mastey Frehair Daily Conditioner or Versacchi Moisture Crème Conditioner.

While the system is still wet, apply conditioner to hair using your fingertips concentrating at the ends. (Keep conditioner one-half inch away from base and venting knots. If conditioner comes into contact with the base it will loosen the hand-tied hair.) Comb through the hair, with conditioner in the hair, using a wide-toothed comb or pick. Allow conditioner to remain in hair according to manufacturer instructions. Rinse with lukewarm water allowing water to run through the hair system from top to bottom. Warning – Using hot water can open hair cuticle causing tangling.

STYLING: We recommend Mastey Fixe Light Spray or Versacchi Vitamaxx Essential Sprae.
Remove excess water from hair system by patting dry with a — Do not rub dry. Apply Mastey HC Formula or Versacchi Thermal Factors Leave-In Conditioner. Gently comb to desire style and allow to air-dry, or use a blow dryer on cool setting. Never use a blow dryer with more than 400 watts and never blow dryer hot settings. Do not over-dry hair.
Apply Mastey Fixe Light or Versacchi Vitamaxx Essential Sprae to hold style.

NOTE: Never sleep with wet hair. This will cause hair to matt at the base resulting in early hair loss.
